Mission The Richmond Dog Park Committee was created in March of 2012. It is a seven member group that is governed by the Town of Richmond. The mission is to raise money through donations and fund-raisers to establish an Official Richmond Dog Park on Buttonwoods Rd., Wyoming, RI 02898. Presently, this site is a former landfill that requires environmental work to be performed under the guidance of the Department of Environmental Management (DEM). It is our goal to raise money to pay for this expensive task and to provide all dogs with a safe and happy place to socialize and roam free.
