All meetings are open to the public, except those exempt under the provisions of Title 42, Chapter 46, of the Rhode Island General Laws.
Requests to be placed on the Town Council agenda must be submitted to the Town Clerk's office by 4pm of the Wednesday prior to the meeting.

The Town Council consists of 5 members, elected from the town at-large to serve for a term of two years.
Regular Town Council meetings are recorded and broadcast the following Thursday at 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Cox channel 18, and Verizon channel 29.
Council meetings can also be viewed on ClerkBase by clicking on Town Council>Town Council Minutes and then the date you wish to view. When meetings are available for viewing, "play" buttons will be displayed next to each agenda item.
