Abandoned FELINE Family

A mother cat and her five kittens were abandoned at a vacant home on Beaver River Schoolhouse Road, and rescued by ACO Anne Fisher on October 21, 2015.  The matter is under investigation as “Abandonment of Animals” is a criminal violation under Rhode Island General Law. 

Mom & her 5 kittens are being loved & cared for at our Richmond Pound.  ACO Fisher takes the time numerous times a day to handle every one of the kittens to be sure they are all happy and content.  All the kittens have been placed for pending adoption, and even Mom will have a home soon too.
